Mr. President, U.S. Senators and U.S. Representatives:
 
I WANT AFFORDABLE HEALTH REFORM WITH A STRONG PUBLIC OPTION.  
 
We the undersigned call on the White House, U.S. House of Representatives and U.S. Senate to support health care reform which provides us with guaranteed, quality, affordable health insurance, based on these principles:
 
1. Include a strong public option, so we are not at the mercy of private insurers.

2. Make sure that health insurance plans are affordable for average families.  And reject any middle-class tax on robust health insurance plans relied upon by many working families, particularly those with older and sicker family members.

3. Require employers to pay their fair share – in a new system that requires shared responsibility from everyone: individuals, government, and employers
